Southampton Counselling and Therapy Centre has been providing high-quality counselling and psychotherapy in the Southampton area for over 30 years.

We are a team of psychodynamic counsellors and psychotherapists who specialise in open-ended therapy, working in-person with individual adults.

We are constituted as a charity, which allows us to provided lower-cost and sometimes further subsidised sessions relative to the private sector, for those in more challenging circumstances.
Our team of counsellors and psychotherapists includes those who are fully qualified and experienced, and those who are currently undergoing extensive clinical training with accredited organisations.

We are an organisational member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). All our therapists are required to have individual registration with and abide by the codes of ethics of professional organisations such as BACP, the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC.)

Our therapists receive regular clinical supervision and undertake continuing professional development, as required by these professional organisations.
